Finland's MYGRAIN have posted their second video online; the clip was directed by Tage Rönnqvist. ‘Trapped In Hourglass’ comes off MYGRAIN's third, self-titled album released back in January 2011 through Spinefarm Records. MYGRAIN formed in of 2004 as Tommy (vocals), Resistor (guitar) and Matthew (guitar), band mates from the disbanded NEW SCIENCE BAND, decided to start over with a new band. After completing their line-up with DJ Locomotive (drums), Eve (synthesizer) and Jonas (bass) and after two independent releases, the sextet caught the attention of Spinefarm Records through which they released 2006's ‘Orbit Dance’. In 2008 MYGRAIN released edgier second album ‘Signs Of Existence’. They describe their music as “space metal” and promise to “kick our sorry derriere to the Moon orbit” with their third release. The “earth-shattering, tsunami-inducing guitar riffs, extraterrestrial keyboard soundscapes and the immaculate balance between brutal and melodic vocals [that] go for the jugular and never let go” were produced by Janne Joutsenniemi (ENSFERIUM/KIUAS) at Shitsilo Studios in Helsinki and mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö.
MYGRAIN features Tommy on vocals, Resistor on guitar, Mr Downhill on guitar, Eve on keyboards, Jonas on bass and DJ Locomotive on drums.
