The album was released in Europe May 26th, 2011 and will hit USA stores tomorrow, June 14th, 2011 via Scarlet Records. Album's artwork was created by French artist Pierre-Alain D. at 3mmi Design.
Inspired by such greats as SLAYER, POSSESED, KREATOR, CELTIC FROST and BATHORY, NECRODEATH formed in 1984 in Genoa, Italy. The band released a demo tape entitled ‘The Shining Pentagram’, which is still considered a real “piece of thrash & black history”, with debut full-length album ‘Into The Macabre’ following in 1987. Blending old-school speed metal and thrash with the newly popular black metal style, NECRODETH's second album, ‘Fragments Of Insanity’, came out two years later. After this release, personnel problems and record company-related problems, caused the band to split up. Guitarist Claudio and drummer Peso reunited in 1988, and with new members Flegias (vocals) and John (bass), the group signed with Italian label Scarlet Records, which immediately re-issued their previous works and NECRODEATH's consequent albums: 1999's ‘Mater Of All Evil’, 2001's ‘Black As Pitch’ and 2003's ‘Ton(e)s Of Hate’ and 2005's compilation album entitled ‘20 Years Of Noise 1985 – 2005’. Long-time member, guitarist Claudio, left the group and was replaced by Andy with whom NECRODEATH recorded 2006's ‘100% Hell’ – featuring guest appearance by VENOM's Cronos – who was in turn replaced by LABYRINTH's Pier Gonella following the release. After inspired-by-the- life-of Vlad III the Impaler, properly-entitled-album ‘Drakulea’ came out in 2007, bassist GL (replacing John) and guitarist Pier Gonella, alongside old-timers Peso and Flegias, and marking the band's 25th anniversary, ‘Phylogenesis’ was released in 2009. To celebrate fittingly those 25 years of noise, NECRODEATH recorded a cover album entitled ‘Old Scull’ in 2010 – all due to Scarlet Records.
