BuriedInBlack_BlackDeath

People at AFM Records have decided that more of us should get to know Hamburg, Germany-based death metal band BURIED IN BLACK and have therefore made the group's just released debut album entitled ‘Black Death’,  available for free listening - please use the player available below. (The stream has since ended.) ‘Black Death’, released via AFM Records on June 10th, 2011, was recorded at Recorder Studio in Hamburg, with Hamburg scene veteran “Bunker” handling the mixing.

BURIED IN BLACK was formed in 2008 by guitarist Ben Liepelt (ex-MAD DOGGIN) and vocalist Ron Brunke (ex-NAYLED) who enlisted bassist Torsten Eggert (ex-DARK AGE), drummer Sören Teckenburg and guitarist Etienne Belmar (ex-UNDERCROFT / LOBOTOMY) to complete the band's lineup. BURIED IN BLACK's  7-track demo entitled ‘Arms Of Armageddon’, recorded in 2009 in Mark Geiger's Kick That… Studio, was chosen by Metal Hammer Germany as the “demo of the month” and was featured in its May 2010 issue. The group has opened for acts such as MAROON, DISBELIEF, MAINTAIN, DARK AGE and ALL THAT REMAINS. AFM Records took notice in 2010 and signed the band.
